I added decorative eye pins (purchased at my local hardware store) to hold the purse handle.
Choose beads for the handle. (I cut up an chunky bracelet from China town for use of the beads for the handle.)
Using craft wire, string the beads and twirl the wire around the eyepins for a secure hold

Using old bits of jewlery, rhinestones, metallic pens, paints...etc.
